Erik and Ana, I can't tell you enough how thankful Rich and I for our very first scuba diving experience. You were absolutely right - scuba diving isn't exactly the most pleasant event in the beginning, but with some time, it became thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for all the helpful tips and for your attentiveness. As I've said before, Rich and I went skydiving the day before this and it was definitely a fun rush. My husband and I had a great time with Oahu Diving! I was really nervous about the whole thing (all of these horrible scenarios kept flashing through my head) but I am so glad we went. Jeff and Erik made sure everybody was comfortable right from the start, and they kept an eye on us throughout. You could tell safety was a priority but the overall atmosphere was about having fun. They told us what we needed to know and they checked our skills individually but they wasted no time getting everyone into the water. On the boat ride, we were encouraged to sit on the roof or on the front of the boat to get better views. And the dives were wonderful! We had gone snorkeling at Hanauma Bay the day before but it was just a completely different experience. We saw lots of fish, a couple of turtles on our first dive (including the biggest turtle I have ever seen) and an octopus on our second. Jeff and Erik got pictures of it all and they sent out the pictures the very next day! We had a lot of fun looking through the pictures and reliving our dives. Some of my favorite Hawaii photos are from their set. Overall, it was a great experience at a reasonable price, especially considering that it included all of the gear, two dives, a boat ride with beverages offered, tons of free pictures, and a shuttle to and from our hotel. Compared to the many other places in Honolulu that will charge a little too much for just about everything, this place offers a lot of bang for the buck. I would highly recommend Oahu Diving. Aloha Eric! Wow, it seems so long ago we arrived in Honolulu and the very next day were out on the boat with you...Abbi and I are both a little homesick- as we are both missing Hawaii and even though we reside in Vermont, people such as yourself made us feel completely at home. I must say that I am unbelievably happy with the pictures! What a nice touch. It shows that Oahu Diving takes those extra steps that make for long lasting memories. Your professionalism is second to none, when Abbi had that little problem with her regulator, (seasick underwater- that’s a new one for me!) your quick response made a situation that could have been frightening into a means of me being able to poke fun at her for years to come. As a note the story does not include hurricanes yet, but the shark infested waters exaggeration is starting to arise in jest. I would highly recommend your tour to anyone interested in diving, especially for first time divers as you are much in tune with their needs. We already recommended you to several other travelers we ran into during our stay on the islands, and we hope that they used your services. I did my research on many of the dive tours on the island and I will say that nothing beat yours for value, and after going out on the bout with you, and under the water, they'd have a hard time beating your professional, and courteous staff. Thanks again for adding to the lifetime of memories from an amazing honeymoon- one day a plunge into marriage, the next day a plunge with you! Jay and Abbi Kiley

Hey Eric! Aloha! Thanks so very much for the great pictures of our dive (Sept. 11, 1-4:30pm)!!!What a wonderful time I had (and my husband too!) even with the icky motion sickness that we both had (he knew the risk with hanging out on the boat... should have gone below, huh! And with me... my vertigo issues I am left with from an auto accident 5 years ago, I kind of expected a little motion sickness, even with my meds I took for it... but mine wasn't that bad). The dives made it ALL worth it!!!Your pictures are awesome! What a wonderful way for me to hold onto those memories!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Please pass a big thanks out to Ana and Jeff as well! Ana was so very kind and sincere and Jeff was fun to be around, as were you! John, my husband said that Captain Joe was pretty cool too and gave him advice for his sickness topside. Even though my hubby got sick, I know he enjoyed the adventure and now he is curious about diving! This is a great thing!!! We will definitely write a few TOP NOTCH 5 star reviews for you. We plan on returning in a few years, and we for sure will look you up for more diving fun! I want to be certified for wreck diving and so that along with some reef diving will be our plans! Hi Oahu Diving, Thanks ever so much for having given me the opportunity to have a go at Scuba Diving while in Oahu. Two days later I went up to Hanauma Bay and had a go at Snorkeling which I thoroughly enjoyed, having spent 3 hours in the water. I had only ever attempted this once before many years ago. But after snorkeling, I felt that had I done this first (which I had originally intended), I would have adapted to diving with a tank a lot better. Water clarity and temperature in Hawaii was so much better than what we would ever get in NZ, that it was to good an opportunity to pass up. These and this experience were fantastic. Well, other than losing my stomach lining, which is now floating in the Pacific Ocean somewhere. I was apparently dead set on emptying its entire contents before returning to the scheduled program...and boy did I. Less calories to worry about, I guess.

My girlfriend and myself decided to get certified in oahu. We got in touch with Eric while still in the east cost and he was super helpful. He walked us through all the details required to get certified and before we landed up in Oahu we had most of the course work done. We called him when we landed in oahu and he made the necessary arrangements to meet us, give us the books, talked us through it and get this.. gave us his personal phone number just in case we have any questions. We met his wonderful extremely pretty and super nice wife, our instructor, Ana the next day. She rocked. After getting done with the academics (course work) we had our confined water dive at magic island. For two people who had never been snorkeling or scuba, Ana made us feel at ease and so comfortable under water we got through our skills in no time, we had so much time left from the planned time, we went snorkeling for about an hour just to kill time :). They worked with our every request, made time for us, we have Ana dedicated to us even when we went on a charted dive. They took a few fist time divers (fun dive.. no training just fun diving) along with us when we went for our open water dive, in spite of there being a bunch of people who had never been diving eric managed to calm every one's nerves and they all had a great time. Anna stuck around us and helped us with each skill we needed to perform. The dives were fun, We saw loads of fish and even got to pet a sea turtle. Like i said Eric and Anna have a gift. They are genuine people who really love what they are doing and love to share the joy it brings them. If you are considering diving in Oahu, I urge you to give Eric a call first and well then you will not have to call any one else. K and J karthik
